Jun 29 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
The first commercial appearance of the group was on Cam’ron’s 2000 album S.D.E., released on Epic Records. During this period, various members of the original group consisting of Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freekey Zekey, and others, were first signed together as a group to Roc-A-Fella Records from 2001 to 2004, though they are now signed to their own label, Diplomat Records. Each individual artist, however is signed to a different label, including E1 Music, Asylum, and Def Jam, among others.

The group came to further popularity in 2002 with the release of Cam’ron’s third album, Come Home With Me. The lead singles were platinum hits ‘Oh Boy’ and ‘Hey Ma’, which both featured group mate Juelz Santana. The group followed Cam’ron’s solo album shortly after with their debut album Diplomatic Immunity released in 2003, which featured remixes of both songs, as well as lead single ‘Dipset Anthem’ which peaked at #64 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The double-disc album was a success and quickly became certified gold by RIAA under two months after its release. By the time of the release of their 2004 followup, Diplomatic Immunity 2, additional members Hell Rell, 40 Cal., and J. R. Writer had joined the group.

Brent Faiyaz
Aug 27 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
21 years young, Maryland crooner Brent Faiyaz plans on living forever. In a musical landscape consumed with imagery over substance, those who prioritize music before stylists and publicists are eventually inducted into the immortal hall of music legends. In his honest and introspective lyrics, Brent slinks between heroism and villainy like bushes in a wooded path, as do we all, since the cocky heartbreaker and vulnerable repentant are usually one and the same. We were told growth was walking a long and twisted path through the darkness, but with Brent Faiyaz as your witty companion, maybe you can touch a piece of that immortality as well. Laying low after premiering his first single “Allure” via Pigeons & Planes last year, Brent has chosen to record his upcoming debut project in LA to ensure an optimal listening experience for both old and new fans alike. Most recently, Faiyaz was featured on Goldlink’s “Crew” which hit #1 at Urban radio and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.
David Britt ‘Singin’ For A Reason’ Benefit
Sep 22 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Born October 1, 1975, in Charlotte, North Carolina, David Britt is a Country Music Recording Artist and Singer Songwriter. Although he began playing violin at the early age of three, David did not start writing music until he was thirty-five. Up until that point David was a top national junior tennis player, an ACC Tennis Champion at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and briefly, a Professional tennis player on the Men’s Pro Tennis Circuit. After hanging up his racquet, David started in the world of Commercial Real Estate. Several years of stellar success had been under his belt when the market crashed in 2008. Although Charlotte, North Carolina was somewhat insulated, the crash still took a toll on many brokers and developers. David, like many in his field, all of sudden had a fair amount of time on his hands. That’s when he began to write music. It was a life-long dream that found its way back into David’s life. After teaching himself to play the guitar, David booked his first studio session with Producer Jason Scavone, and put together his first album, self-titled, DAVID BRITT, which was released in 2012. Since that time David has released 2 other albums, COUNTRY FLOW, and IT”S ON NOW, along with several other singles. David’s 4th album LOVE SONGS & LULLABIES will be released February 14, 2018. David has written over 2000 songs. Over the years David has made national news due to his philanthropic work in and out of the music world, and does many charitable concerts a year. He is also written and published three books. In October of 2017 David traveled to New York City to perform at Gretchen Carlson’s book launch for her Best Selling book, ‘Be Fierce.’ where he performed his hit tribute song to Gretchen, ‘Be Fierce.’ All proceeds from the song benefit Gretchen’s ‘Gift Of Courage Fund,’ which helps underserved women. David’s mentor, and one of his closest friends, is Joe Bonsall of the Country Music Hall of Fame group, The Oak Ridge Boys. Although David is full time in music, he is still heavily involved in commercial real estate with his company, David Britt Real Estate, LLC, where he is a broker and developer. David has two beautiful children. They reside in Charlotte, NC.

Mike Shinoda
Oct 17 @ 8:00 pm

In the days and weeks that followed the tragic suicide of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington last July, Mike Shinoda had the same conversation with everyone. “First they’d ask, ‘How are you?’ and then they’d ask, ‘What are you going to do?’” he says. “I honestly couldn’t come up with an answer that felt like it was the answer. That time was a blur; my reality had been turned upside down and I was just completely lost at sea. So I started trying to pinpoint some things that I could do, to anchor myself and feel like I was attached to the real world again.”

Shinoda, who founded Linkin Park around the time he started at Art Center College of Design in 1996, did what he has always done to process his emotions: he made art. “I wasn’t eating or sleeping well, so I eventually started making some music and painting. It was meditative in a way, but also scary. For so long, all my creative output was focused on the band. But I reminded myself that I had made music and art all my life before Linkin Park. Not only could I do it, this was necessary in order to move toward recovery.”

With no agenda, Shinoda hunkered down alone in his Los Angeles home and began writing, recording, and painting. The result is the upcoming Post Traumatic, a transparent and intensely personal album that, despite its title, isn’t entirely about grief, though it does start there. “It’s a journey out of grief and darkness, not into grief and darkness,” Shinoda says. Ultimately, Post Traumatic is an album about healing. The songs, though specific about Shinoda’s experience with loss, manage to be universally relatable, thanks to their honesty and heart. “If people have been through something similar, I hope they feel less alone,” he says. “If they haven’t been through this, I hope they feel grateful.”

Lil Xan
Oct 21 @ 8:00 pm

Growing up in Redlands, Calif., the 21-year-old rapper, born Diego Leanos, says his family lived out of motels and was “dirt poor.” But he prized his father’s vinyl collection, which exposed him to all genres of music.

A shy kid who preferred doodling and video games to homework, Xan dropped out of high school when he was a freshman. He knew he would never work a 9-to-5 job — and at 18 he got his first face tattoo of his mother’s name to prove it. He had also developed an addiction to the anti-anxiety drug Xanax — hence the nickname “Lil Xan.”

“The last time I took a Xannie was six months ago, in the ‘Betrayed’ session,” he says of the anti-drug song that launched his career. The woozy track was recorded and mastered in 30 minutes, says Xan: “I never was like, ‘Yeah, this is the fucking one.’” But when the “Betrayed” video was released in August, the clip logged 1 million views in 12 hours, and has since notched almost 90 million.

Lil Xan’s first tour sold out in five hours, and Total Xanarchy, his Columbia Records debut, features guests like Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee and Diplo.

Southside Watt
Nov 17 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

‘Roots, Rock, Blues, Rap, and Country influences merged together to form a toe tapping and head bobbing show you have to see!  When brothers and friends starting combining their decades of musical performance and passion with Charlotte’s booming social scene, they discovered a recipe for music mash-ups that fans had never heard before. They took traditional bluegrass instruments, added beat dropping drums, a screaming hot ’52 telecaster, and hypnotizing lyrics and harmonies, and found their fans dancing, drinking, and grooving along like no other band in Charlotte!

Their life-long beloved friend, Sabrina Watt, booked the band for their first paying gig at a Cystic Fibrosis charity event. Without an official name, she dubbed them ‘The Accidentals’.  As years went by, ‘The Accidentals’ formed a monthly happy hour every second Saturday at Sugar Creek Brewing Company on Southside Drive. Every second Saturday from 2:00 – 5:00 loyal fans came out to get transported from the mundane to the madness!

As ‘The Accidentals’ got tighter and the grooves got deeper, the boys headed to FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama to record some original tunes.  There the history, the magic, and the famous water from the Tennessee River created a sound they are proud to call their own.  During the production process, it was discovered that another ‘The Accidentals’ band existed and the boys were forced to change their name.  They looked to the 2 things that brought them to that point (Sabrina Watt and Southside Drive) and Southside Watt was born.

Sabrina’s life ended far too soon, and she is deeply missed. Southside Watt will always remember her impact on this world, and a portion of the proceeds from our shows are donated to Cystic Fibrosis research in her honor.

So come out and see ‘The Greatest Band that Never Practices’, and be a part of what will truly be a unique, one of a kind show, that is not found anywhere else!

King Lil G & Rittz
Nov 28 @ 8:00 pm

On the surface, King Lil G is a rebel. He’s been involved in gangs, he’s been arrested and served time, he fathered a child before adulthood, he dropped out of school and, to match his record, his body is covered in tattoos. But beyond his troubled past and rough exterior, G is a true artist with a message of HOPE.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California by his single Mexican mother, King Lil G turned to the streets shortly after his parents divorced when he was 12. Soon enough, gang activity would catch up with him, landing him in Juvenile Hall and then house arrest. But G didn’t let the imprisonment discourage him, instead, he used the time to reflect, finding solace in writing rhymes.

Inspired by his own struggles, trials and tribulations that had shaped him, G looked no further than his own life for material. With no formal training or music background, he began to self-teach and, as a result, master the art of storytelling in its most raw, honest and simplest form of wordsmithing. Additionally, he was influenced by the G-funk flavor of 90s West Coast rap about women, weed and palm trees, especially that of California hip-hop staples Snoop Dogg, Too $hort and Dr. Dre, among others, as well as Mexican folk ballads called corridos music and the passion and emotion of one of his all-time favorites, Tupac.

Young Dolph
Jan 27 @ 8:00 pm

Emerging from the rough streets of Memphis, Adolph Thornton Jr., better known by his stage name, Young Dolph, came on the scene with grim club bangers and cold punch lines, turning himself into a local hero via a series of mixtapes before breaking nationwide around 2014. Dolph debuted in 2008 with his Paper Route Campaign mixtape, then releases like The Weed Album and South Memphis Kingpin brought him to 2012 when he dropped the first in a successful series of mixtapes dubbed High Class Street Music. His from-the-bottom grind and mixtap’ing his way out of the mud lead Dolph to bec o me one of the only independent musicians to have multiple Top 20 records from 2014-2016. Young Dolph’s thick Tennessee drawl distinguishes him from most rappers and has gained him collaborations with rap superstars such as 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross, to name a few. In February 2016, Dolph released his debut studio album, King Of Memphis, which debuted at number 8 on Billboard ‘ s Top R&B / Hip-Hop Album Charts and number 49 on the Billboard 200 chart. The 11-track project has no features, and boasts production from the likes of Mike WiLL Made It, Zaytoven, Drumma Boy, TM88, Cassius Jay, Nard and B and more.
