Lovell Bradford at Eddie V’s
Jun 21 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

I’m a Charlotte based pianist who grew up and received my first musical influences in the Chicago area. Growing up playing in the church, I have gospel roots that still show in my performances on piano. I studied at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and began my professional career in the Columbus, Ohio jazz scene. I’ve been lucky enough to have shared the stage with Wynton and Branford Marsalis, Slide Hampton, Wes Anderson, and many others. I continue to perform in the Jazz Room Series in Charlotte, an initiative sponsored by the Jazz Arts Initiative and for which the JAI has received a $30,000 grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. My arrangements for and performances with the Lumzy Family in Charlotte are recorded in their CDs, including Satisfied and Live in Charlotte. My most recent musical configuration, The Lovell Bradford Trio, can be heard frequently on the jazz scene in Charlotte, NC. In addition, I am currently Minister of Music at Charlotte’s Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and teach jazz piano at Davidson College.

Paw Patrol Live!: The Great Pirate Adventure
Jun 22 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

All paws on deck! Nickelodeon and VStar Entertainment Group present PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure,” an all-new action-packed, music-filled production based on the top-rated animated preschool series PAW Patrol produced by Spin Master Entertainment. The new live stage show, which follows the heroic pups as they embark on a pirate-themed adventure to uncover hidden treasure, will visit Ovens Auditorium June 22-24, 2018. Tickets for all six performances are on sale now and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.

In PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure,” Mayor Goodway is getting everything shipshape for a big Pirate Day celebration in Adventure Bay. When Cap’n Turbot falls into a dark and mysterious cavern, it’s PAW Patrol to the rescue! Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky and Zuma save Cap’n Turbot and discover a secret pirate treasure map that leads them on an epic adventure. Over land and on the high seas, the pups set out to find the treasure for Mayor Goodway so the celebration can go on. Things get ruff when Mayor Humdinger wants to find the treasure first for Foggy Bottom. The pups need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure, including help from the newest pup who’s all ears…Tracker! Using their heroic rescue skills, problem solving and teamwork, the pups set sail to save the day. No job is too big, no pirate pup is too small!

PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure” follows the first live show PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue,” which is currently touring through 2018. PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure” includes two acts and an intermission, and incorporates an innovative costume approach to help bring the pups to life on stage as well as their vehicles and packs during the adventure. The performance is interactive, engaging audiences to learn pirate catchphrases, dance the pirate boogie and help the pups follow the treasure map and solve picture puzzles during their mission!
