Don’t miss Raleigh’s Summer Wars on final Warped Tour

In the wake of a heatseeking single, "End of an Era," Summer Wars of Raleigh are setting the standard for NC pop-punk.

In September the quartet signed to Adventure Cat Records, launched by Michael Kaminsky of KMGMT (Neck Deep, Tonight Alive). It’s been a whirlwind since.

A new EP, Borrowed Timein February. A spring tour with A Story Told and Heavy Things. In April, guest DJ-ing at Emo Raleigh alongside members of Motion City Soundtrack.

And now? They’re not only playing the final cross-country Vans Warped Tour, but are featured on the official compilation CD-sandwiched between With Confidence and Grayscale. Thursday, they played Virginia Beach and will return to the Full-Sail University Stage July 30 and 31 in Charlotte and Atlanta, respectively; Friday, the band announced they have joined Tandem Management Co.-home to the likes of Silverstein and August Burns Red.

And the guys aren’t slowing down anytime soon. They promised on a recent social media post: “You’re going to be seeing A LOT more of us on the road through this summer and the rest of the year” [sic].
