Preoccupations start a GoFundMe to help them replace stolen gear

Preoccupations are a good little-known post-punk band whose newest album New Material dropped back in March of this year. Since then, the band have been touring to support the album. But they’ve just recently hit a major setback. On May 15 while on the road in San Francisco, the band woke up to find all of their stuff had been stolen. This included their trailer, all of the gear, and all of their merch. Apparently, this bad luck had hit them earlier in the week too while in Vancouver. They were able to buy back a lot of their gear, but this time they’re asking for a little help.

The band have now set up a GoFundMe page for fans to help them get enough funds back to replace their mice and gear so that they can finish out this tour. As of this writing, the band have raised almost half of what they’re asking. So, if you’d like to help out, just head right here and donate whatever you can. The band have not announced any plans to cancel the tour, so you can also help support them by picking up some tickets here.

Additionally, purchase New Material here.
