Jack White shares strange new song “Corporation”

Jack White is getting ready to drop his third solo release Boarding House Reach on March 23. So far, he’s shared two new songs from the LP, and now he’s shared yet another one.

Jack White’s new one, “Corporation,” relies heavily on guitar funk noodling for quite a while before the vocals come in. It’s a strange track, which I guess we should have expected because White did say beforehand that this was a more experimental album that plays with all sorts of genres. But, honestly, it’s just an odd choice for a single.

Already, Boarding House Reach, is shaping up to be a different, weirder Jack White album, and whether or not that will amount to something great is anyone’s guess. Give a listen to “Corporation” below and then share your own thoughts about it in the comments.

Pre-order the standard edition of Boarding House Reach right here. Or sign up for Third Man’s Vault subscription to get the limited deluxe version here. The deadline to sign up is January 31.
