Third Man Records is primarily known for being the brainchild of Jack White. The label hosts a wide array of Jack White-related projects as well as some more blues and country artists. But, now the label has signed its first ever rapper to its roster, SHIRT.
SHIRT is a Queens-based rapper who gained some attention with his self-released albums RAP MONEY, NIKE ADIDAS, and MUSEUM. The albums have typically either been released online for free or for a very cheap fee, so its likely that many people have not heard of him. Now though, he’s eyeing to get many more ears on his music with his first label signing with Third Man Records.
Third Man will release his new album Pure Beauty digitally on February 9, with limited physical editions coming February 23. Ahead of the album drop (and of any pre-orders or tracklist becoming available) SHIRT has shared a video for his first single “Flight Home.” Check it out down below.
