Spiritualized announce new album ‘And Nothing Hurt,’ share 2 new tracks

Spiritualized haven’t released an album since 2012’s Sweet Heart Sweet Light, but it looks like they’re coming back strong this year. After teasing some song titles in morse code a couple weeks back, the band have now officially announced a new album. And Nothing Hurt will be out September 7 via Fat Possum. It will be their eight overall studio album, and quite possibly their last, a sentiment primary band member Jason Pierce maintains. He shared these words about that idea:

“I was quite sincere about that and I still feel like it might be the case. It was such hard work. I found myself going crazy for so long. It’s not like there’s no coming back, I’m fine now… it’s just such a hard thing to do, to make a record like this on your own.”

Ahead of its release, the band have also shared two new songs from the upcoming LP. First off is the first official single “I’m Your Man.” The new song gets a beautifully shot official video which you can check out right below here. There’s also “A Perfect Miracle,” which is the opening track for And Nothing Hurt. That one can be streamed right over here.
