Folk hero and all-around beautiful singer The Tallest Man On Earth (aka Kristian Matsson) is coming back with a new musical project to share with the world. It’s not quite an album (not yet anyway), but instead a series of new songs (and videos) debuted every month throughout the Spring. He’s calling it When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground. You might remember that Matsson started a similar demos project last year, but this new one is different in that these won’t just live in video form. The new songs will also be available to stream and download as they become available.
The first new song shared from the When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground project is called “An Ocean.” The video sees Matsson talking about his obsession with birds, as well as debuting a rough, stripped down version of the song. It also has some breathtaking imagery of the outdoors. Check it out down below, or stream the full-band version right here.
Additionally, The Tallest Man On Earth has set up a good chunk of tour dates that mostly run through the Fall. Check them out down below. Tickets will be on sale right here starting this Friday.
Whether When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground sees a physical album release or not is unclear at this point. But we can certainly hope.
