Sorority Noise announce upcoming hiatus, stream rearranged ‘YNAAYT’ early

It’s a sad day for Sorority Noise fans.

Guitarist and vocalist Cameron Boucher announced on the band’s social media pages that following their upcoming UK/US tours, Sorority Noise will take an indefinite hiatus.

In his statement, Boucher shared that it is in his “heart and mind’s best interest to take a break from the band for a while”. He asked fans to use their hiatus as an opportunity to discover new music.

As part of the announcement, Boucher also revealed that the rearrangement of their 2017 album You’re Not As ________ As You Think is streaming now. The album was previously scheduled for release on March 18th, the one year anniversary of its original release last year.

The new version features strings and other instrumentation. They also replaced “Where Are You?” with a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Chelsea Hotel No. 2”.
