The Rural Alberta Advantage released their stellar fourth studio album, The Wild, last year. Among showcasing the energetic performances of the trio, it wound up containing some of the best material by the trio yet. To continue to build some interest for the record, the band have now shared another new single from it.
“Bad Luck Again” is the next single from The Wild, and instead of merely releasing it as a digital single, we get a whole video for it. The video shows the band performing in a small room, cut with some behind the scenes footage of the shoot. The band also took this as an opportunity to show/share some great news. Within the footage of the band, you’ll notice that their original keyboardist/backup vocalist Amy Cole is back. Cole originally left the band before they started work on the new record, so all the performances on the LP come from the new member Robin Hatch. But, last month they shared that Amy was coming back. It’s fantastic news considering how essential Amy felt to the group’s dynamic. Robin Hatch for sure will be missed as she brought some great energy to the record. But at the same time it’s really nice to welcome Amy back into this great Canadian trio.
