Beach House drop new single “Lemon Glow”

Beach House, the genius Baltimore-based dream pop duo, have just randomly dropped a brand new single. So, in case you had a bad Valentine’s Day yesterday, Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally are here to give a little love to you. The band shared the new song titled “Lemon Glow” on their social media last night. Along with the sudden video release, the band stated that it comes from their upcoming new album due out later this Spring.

Beach House have been super busy the past few years. After taking a little bit of time off with the release of their 2012 album Bloom, the band returned with some surprised up their sleeves. 2015 saw the band releasing two brand new albums, Depression Cherry and Thank Your Lucky Stars. And just last year, they put out the compilation B-Sides and Rarities, which was so great it just felt like a whole brand new Beach House album.

Now, the band are already set to follow up the greatness of the past couple of years. It all starts now with “Lemon Glow.” The new track really gives a nod to the more cacophonous songs from their discography, with all the beautiful sounds melding together into an extremely pleasing sound collage. Also, Victoria Legrand is phenomenal as always. The new video is a a real trip as well. Give it a watch right down below.

So far, this is the only information to go on concerning new Beach House material. An album is coming for sure, but we’ll have to wait a little bit to get all the good details on that.

While we wait, stream B-Sides and Rarities right here.
