Watch Council’s Olympics-inspired video for “Rust To Gold”

Council, the NYC alt-pop group, is steadily climbing up to be one of the biggest bands to watch in 2018. Their hit single “Rust To Gold” was just featured prominently in the opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. Since its debut, it’s already gathered up 5 million streams across all platforms. Now, though, the trio is here to share their official video for the single.

“Rust To Gold” is the band’s big breakthrough hit. It was produced by Grammy-nominated Justin Gray (Mariah Carey, John Legend) and ten-time Grammy-nominated mixer Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, The Killers), with additional production by Dave and P. Prior to the release of the single, the band signed on to  Five Seven Music and quickly began picking up attention on both the local and national level. So far, they’ve opened up for acts such as The All American Rejects and The Kooks. Although they may be slightly unknown to you at the moment, they’re the band to look out for this year.

Watch Council’s official video for “Rust To Gold” right down below. It features footage of the band interspersed with a bit of good Olympics action.
