Elise Trouw to join Moonchild on April 2018 tour dates

San Diego multi-instrumentalist and song-writer Elise Trouw recently burst onto the scene with her viral video for “Foo Fighters Meets 70s Bobby Caldwell – Live Looping Mashup,” so much so, in fact that she was invited to perform the piece, live, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on February 8th. A mashup of “Everlong” by Foo Fighters and “What You Won’t Do for Love” by Bobby Caldwell, “Foo Fighters Meets 70s Bobby Caldwell – Live Looping Mashup” has already garnered many millions of views on both Facebook and YouTube.

“People ask me “What genre is your music?” With songs in 5/4 and 7/4, chords that you’d normally find in The Real Book next to “Take Five,” and influences like Radiohead, The Police, and Steely Dan, I’m really not sure what box I fit into- I’ll leave that up to you,” Trouw said.
