The Hold Steady share new songs “Entitlement Crew” and “A Snake In The Shower”

The Hold Steady haven’t released a new studio album since 2014’s Teeth Dreams, but they’ve managed to stay busy touring on and off throughout the years. No new music has been hinted at, other than from frontman Craig Finn’s solo career. But today, they’ve decided to give the fans what they want.

In conjunction with the The Hold Steady’s four night concert series this Wednesday through Saturday at The Brooklyn Bowl, the band have decided to share two brand new songs. “Entitlement Crew” and “A Snake In The Shower” are currently streaming exclusively on Bandcamp (with other streaming services seeing the release next week). Of the new songs, the band had this to say:

“We recorded these in Brooklyn just this month. We hope to play them at the shows, so we thought we’d share them in case you want to sing along.”

As far as Craig Finn’s solo career goes, he released an excellent album just this year with We All Want The Same Things. Buy it here.
