JaggerMouth release “The Album Formally Known as Record”

Charlotte rockers JaggerMouth quick release the follow up album to their 2015 title Synthetic Me.

The Album Formally Known as Record digitally releases August 5, 2017 through Jaggermouth.net, with the official launch party happening at Charlotte’s Visulite Theater on August 11 featuring IAMDYNAMITE, Modern Primitives and Indighost.

Known for their high-octane live performances and musical spontaneity, JaggerMouth wrote the majority of the album while recording in an effort to capture the primal brilliance that often comes with one’s first instinct. Engineered and mixed by their drummer in his home studio, from writing to recording, this record was a true DIY team effort by the band. They enlisted NC legend Jamie King at the Basement Studios to master the album who helped the songs reach a level of loud that echoes their live show presence. In true rock n roll fashion; JaggerMouth finished The Album Formally Known as Record at the literal last second, pulling off a dynamic blend of raw performance and industry sound.  Elements of this record appeal to a variety of different genres and fans alike. Containing old school rock flairs, bluesy guitars, punk influences, raging funk moments, even storytelling and acoustic notes, this piece is a new evolution of the JaggerMouth resonance.

JaggerMouth plans to travel extensively for this record; several local fall dates are already booked which include The Foo Fighters After Party in Columbia, SC and an impending spring full album tour.  106.5 The Mountain will be playing a band interview with Divakar while spinning the tracks every Sunday in August, and numerous forthcoming publications will be releasing throughout fall.  Every Wednesday in November JaggerMouth will be playing Snug Harbor in Charlotte, devoting each week to bringing in the best of local and out of town talent, as well as The Album Formally Known as Record vinyl release, music video debut, and new merchandise launch.
